About the Professors:

The Late Steven Finz
Professor Steven Finz was named “Outstanding Professor of the Year” eight times while teaching at Western State University College of Law. He was the author of numerous widely recognized publications on Torts, Product Liability and the Multistate Bar Examination. Professor Finz was Director of Advance College of Continuing Legal Education where he authored Finz’s ADVANCED TAPES on Torts and Personal Injury Law. Professor Finz also lectured on the Sum & Substance “Outstanding Professor” Series audio cassettes for Torts, Product Liability and Mastering Multiple Choice (MBE). Professor Finz received his J.D. degree from New York Law School in 1970.

Professor Lawrence Levine
Professor of Law, University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law
Professor Lawrence Levine has been teaching Torts since 1985 at University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and New York Law School. Twice recognized as "Professor of the Year," he is a co-author of a torts casebook and a torts treatise. Professor Levine is also the author of West's Quick Review outline on Torts. He speaks frequently about torts-related issues and, as a member of the American Law Institute, worked on the recently adopted Third Restatement of Torts. Professor Levine graduated with honors from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. Professor Levine is honored to be given this opportunity to continue Professor Finz' excellent work on the Sum & Substance Torts Lecture series.
