About the Professor:
Professor William A. Fletcher graduated from Harvard and Oxford Universities and Yale Law School. Professor Fletcher clerked for Supreme Court Justice William J. Brenner, Jr. and now teaches at the University of California, Berkeley, where he won the Distinguished Teaching Award. He was sworn in as a judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit in 1999.
