About the Professor:
Professor John R. Thomas is a member of the faculty of the George Washington University School of Law, where he teaches courses in Intellectual Property Law. He has also served as an instructor at the Patent Academy of the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is a co-author of the West Group Publication Patent Law: Cases and Materials. Prior to joining the academy, Professor Thomas served as a law clerk on the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, completed fellowships at leading intellectual property research organizations in Europe and Japan, and practiced in the field of intellectual property law.
