About the Professor:
Michael Kuafman is Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Professor of Law and Founding Director of the ChildLaw and Education Institute at Loyola University of Chicago School of Law. Dean Kaufman is the author of more than 60 books and countless articles, including one of the nation’s leading Education Law treatises and casebooks. He has been elected to three terms on the Board of Education of a large, diverse public school district in the Chicago area, and has served multiple terms as the board’s President and Vice President. Dean Kaufman is often called upon to provide expert testimony and advice in complex education law matters. A world renowned teacher, Dean Kaufman has taught Education Law, Business Organizations and Civil Procedure for more than two decades, and has delivered highly acclaimed bar examination review lectures to over half a million law students. Dean Kaufman recently was recognized in The Princeton Review of the Nation’s Leading Law Schools as the best “professor to walk on the planet.”
