About the Professor:
Professor Burr has taught Entertainment Law at the University of New Mexico and the University of Hawaii, as well as International Entertainment Law in summer programs in Austria and Spain. She is a frequent lecturer on “The Globalization of the Entertainment Industry.” She is the author of Entertainment Law in a Nutshell (1st and 2nd editions) (Thomson West 2004 and 2007) and co-author of Entertainment Law: Cases and Materials on Film, Television, and Music (Thomson West 2004). Professor Burr has won numerous national awards for her writing and lectures. She is also the creator, host, and producer of the television shows “Arts Talk” and “Dating 101.” Professor Burr is a graduate of Yale Law School, Mount Holyoke College, and Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. In addition to the books mentioned above, she is the author or co-author of six other books.
